I am a graduate student in physics, who just acquired my first camera on January 28th, 2021. At this point, I can at most claim that I am an enthusiast captivated by the physics of these little (well, big if you're talking DSLRs) light measurement devices. The possibilities that these devices harbor for artistic expression and capturing memories are extensive.
Throughout my life, I've tried my hand at various art media; though, photography (with a simple phone camera and few skills) was the only one that prevailed through the years. Now, armed with my first DSLR, I'm learning that there are so many more adjustable knobs that shape an image, from the sensor to the software one uses for editing.
So far, I'm capturing whatever I can without a niche in mind; though, I am especially fond of photographing animals (read: my cat) and natural scenes.
The photos I share are far from perfect and serve to document my progress. On that note, if you have any constructive feedback or guidance, it would be deeply appreciated. The "Contact me" page is open for such generous messages.
Thank you for joining me on my photography journey.
